ANTIQUE DAWSON ENGLISH DINNERWARE SERVICE-Ironstone Blue/ White 70+ Pieces.
Condition is "Used". Please note this Dawson Dinnerware Service is ANTIQUE .. and in very good Antique condition. Some of the dishes and serving pieces have repairs but most in very nice condition. The repairs are all old repairs.. I have not touched the collection since it was bought. Please contact me for more details and I can send additional photos if you would like.
The entire collection was purchased by me in 1993 at CHRISTIES ... during the JUAN PORTELA Auction at Christie’s. Juan Portela was an important Antique and Decorative dealer in NYC and his pieces were often published in Architectural Digest.
The dinnerware collection which I purchased has never been used by me. It was both to display but has not been used although it is very suitable for use. The collection is beautiful... there is a large soup tureen, and exquisite soup ladle, two gravy boats and numerous serving pieces too many to describe.
I would be happy to send additional photos should you be seriously interested in this exquisite collection. I have looked extensively but have not seen a beautiful dinnerware service like this. The blue and white transfer ware images/ designs are beautiful and the vibrancy of the blue and white color is exquisite.
Because of the large quantity of pieces in this dinner service.....this service cannot be sent unless you hire a service on your own to pick up your purchase.
I am selling the collection with LOCAL PICK-UP required. You may want to hire a shipping service to come and collect the dinner service and they could pack and ship it to you... this will be up to you to decide.
