Denon 103s MC Cartridge NOS - Zero hours. Rare!

Description

This is a NEW old stock Denon 103s cartridge with all original packaging, manual and original test measurements.
This model has a shorter cantilever and stiffer suspension than its more famous siblings in the 103 series. The compliance is higher so it is better suited for low mass tonearms like the SME 3009 series.
This was purchased from the home of an audiophile who bought it new in 1974 and never used it.
There is a mark on one side of the headshell where the threads from the mounting screws left an imprint, as seen in photos.
The cartridge mounts to the jewel box so you will see mounting marks that are attributed to the original packaging methods. The leads have not been crimped and are not pinched or misformed in anyway.
