Description
Early WWII US Military M1 Steel Helmet Fixed Bale Front Seam Vietnam ProtesterUp for auction is a WWII era M1 helmet, likely from McChord. The fixed bales and front seam date this helmet to the early portion of World War Two. The chin strap appears to be original and is in pretty good condition. At some point the helmet was modified with classic 'hippie' and 'protest' slogans - probably during the Vietnam war era.
