Recovered from a pile of post WW2 used original fixed bail helmets, offered for your consideration is a Free French Forces original wartime painted Captain's helmet. The insignia had been covered by post war paint, which was carefully removed to expose the French colors and rank badge. Cleaning of this area can be furthered, but I will leave that up to the buyer.

Helmet saw probable use with First French Armored Division. 100% original WW2 period painted helmet. Will ship internationally.
