    Description

    This is a rare and hard to find goggle. It is a Luxor No. 6 made by E.B. Meyrowitz. These were issued to the Army Air Corps as the Type B-2. Goggles are a work of art. Intricate frame, center bridge has an adjustment screw for a superior fit. There is an older repair of the center bridge. This set is outfitted with clear glass lenses. Original goggle strap has typically lost its elasticity. Strap is complete with the original issue fittings. Two piece cushions are in very good condition. Goggles come with the original issue carrying case. Nicely marked on the top, “LUXOR GOGGLE No 6”. Pictures of early Army Air Corps pilots are often shown wearing the B-2 flying goggles. A truly labor intensive made goggle. If you love vintage flying goggles, don’t miss this set.
