Original M52 Marine Corps USMC HBT Billed Fatigue Hat Medium Size EGA Stencil

Available is an original Model 1952 United States Marine Corps Herringbone Twill (HBT) fatigue or utility billed hat or cap.
The piece comes with all of its original components including the sweatband and four side grommets. The front of the hat is beautifully stenciled with a WWII-era EGA device.  There is a tag is underneath the sweatband.  However, it shows some fading and the way it was sewn into the sweatband, it can't fully be read.  It appears to read, "MEDIUM/(Company Maker - I can't make it out)/M 10855/1952" on four lines. There are no marks or stampings in the hat.  I wear a size 7 ¼ and it is slightly small on me. I’m guessing it is probably a size 7.
The hat is in overall very good condition showing only light age from honest use.  While stiff, the bill feels as it has been folded at one point.  The item belonged to the estate of Marine who served from WWII through the mid-1960’s and was recently removed from a large trunk in his basement.
