At this price you will receive one Original WWII Olive Drab camouflage Shrimp Net for your M1 helmet re-purposed/cut from late WWII camouflage foliage "Shrimp Nets".  This is the Hexagonal pattern shrimp net.  These type of nets were used primarily during the latter part of the war in the European Theatre of Operations.   These are the actual woven shrimp net material, not to be confused with the 1/4" tied/knotted nets which were also issued to the Soldiers in the ETO.
These large "shrimp nets" were used to camouflage vehicles, armor, artillery pieces, and supply depots.  Ive found ample evidence of these being used with vehicles, through my research, and given that Im finding oil and grease spots on the nets.  The helmet net you receive may have very small repairs or light grimy areas.  I weed out any portion thats black with grease.  They will, however, be dusty and dirty from decades of storage.  In my opinion they look great as-is.  They also have that distinct old-school Surplus Store smell.  I dont see that as a negative either, but just want you to be aware.
These were cut from templates we created, based on similar nets, to ensure that it is guaranteed to fit your US GI M1 Steel Helmet.
If you dont have access to an original WWII era elastic band, the 60s-80s US GI elastic camouflage helmet bands are an excellent substitute, and a great help in achieving a tight, clean fit as you place the net on your helmet.
