This auction is for a Staffordshire Child's "Fishers" Red Transfer Toy Plate, Cork, Edge & Malkin, Staffordshire, Endland, c. 1860-1880. This toy plate is very attractive with a red transfer printed pattern. The plate is unmarked on the underside, other than the number "2". Decorated in the scarce FISHERS pattern, depicting a boy and girl sitting by the side of a river with their fishing poles and bait, cows grazing near a bridge in the distance. This is a part of a partial collection of children's toy ceramics that I will offer on ebay in the next couple of months. I am happy to combine shipping to save you on the shipping expense.
