Deluxe short shaft wiring kit for Gibson Les Paul®.  For use in USA-made guitars with direct through body mount (no control plate) A difference you will definitely hear.  Containing only top quality name brand parts including our own custom spec'd CTS 525K pots.  Why our kit?  Slightly higher resistance, tighter tolerance pots, all name brand parts.
What's included:

CTS TAOT Custom 500K SHORT/split, knurled shaft, audio taper potentiometers.
We're are pleased to include in this kit our own custom branded and spec'd pots manufactured by CTS.  These are identical in construction to CTS's high quality 450G series pots, but we tweaked specs a bit.  These pots are metered in the sweet spot of 500K to 550K.  This means no exceptionally low or high resistance pots giving a nice balanced sound.

Two (2) Orange Drop 715P .022uf/200v (5% Tolerance) Capacitors
One (1) Switchcraft long straight 3-way toggle switch. Cream colored switch tip included.
One (1) Deep Nut for Switchcraft switch w/Nickel finish.

One (1) Switchcraft #11, 1/4" Mono Jack
Five feet vintage-style braided shielded single conductor wire (for wiring switch & jack)
Approximately one foot of vintage-style 7-strand, pre-tinned, 22 awg black cloth push back wire (not pictured, for grounding pots if necessary)
Approximately one foot of 20 awg  buss wire (not pictured, can be used for grounding switch and pots)

You spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on your guitar don't skimp when it comes to components.
Please Note:
1. As a general rule pre-1977 production Les Paul's, historic reissue Les Paul's, PRS and Hamer guitars use short shaft pots.  If you are uncertain whether your guitar uses short (3/8") or long
(3/4"
) shaft  pots,
please double check before you order.
2. All parts in this kit use American not metric sizing.  If you own an imported guitar (e.g. Japan, China, Mexico, etc.) the pots, switch and jack in this kit will not fit your guitar without enlarging the openings.
3. The switchcraft toggle switch comes with a flat nut, depending on the thickness of the body of the guitar (this includes most Les Paul's), you made need the "vintage-style" deep nut, which is also included in this kit.

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to return your item.  In order to return your item, you must notify us within 30 days of receipt of the item, and provide the Ebay item #, and date of purchase.  The item must be received back within 30 days of the date the return was authorized.   In order for us to accept returned item, it MUST be unused and in the same condition it was shipped (this means you have not soldered on lugs, clipped leads, tried to fit a square peg in a round hole, etc.).  We reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee.  In instances where factory packaged items are returned open a 50% restocking fee will apply.
