Transcription turntable: Denon DP 3000 with a long uni-pivot tone arm Grace 960
Submitted for your consideration a fantastic turntable with long uni-pivot oil damped tonearm Grace 960 (285mm 11 1/4”). It is installed into a massive plinth with dust cover that holds itself in any position between fully opened or and closed. The Grace -960 tonearm is fitted with Ortofon X3 MC high output moving coil cartridge.
The plinth has space for installing two more tonearms of various length up to 12 inches. The plates for tone arms are round inserts that can be turned and set for optimal distance between pivot and stylus individually for each tonearm. The turntable with the dust cover and three tone arms weight 48 pounds! It goes with a matching wheel cart that holds the turntable comfortably and allows to move it easily.
This turntable can play records of any size including 16” transcription records with very small tracking errors.
Cosmetically the turntable, the tonearm and the dust cover are in near mint condition. The sound of Grace 960 with Ortofon cartridge is awesome.
The dimensions of the turntable are 60 x 53 x 17cm (23 ½” x 21” x 5 ¾”), the height of the turntable on the cart from the floor to the top of closed dust cover is 73 cm (29 ¾”), weight - 48 lbs without the cart.
I cannot ship this turntable because of its size and weight, it can be picked up in Fair Lawn NJ or I can deliver it within 50 miles in tri-state area for a small fee.
