US IMP Fiberglass M1 Helmet Liner WW2 WWII Original

Description

Up for your consideration is an original World War II U.S. Military IMP fiberglass M1 Helmet Liner.
Bidding starting at .99 with NO RESERVE.
Overall condition is very good.
International Molded Plastics mfg M1 liner.
There is a white hand painted circle on the front side of the helmet and it's very clear that the helmet was over painted before the white circle was painted on the front.
There is some some etched insignia behind the white circle as well as hand etched markings on both sides of the helmet liner under the paint.
I'm unsure of exactly what the markings were related to however this helmet came out of a flea market in Detroit, Michigan decades ago.
The interior webbing remains intact as well as the liners sweatband and nape strap.
No leather chinstrap is intact on the liner. There are also some small cracks to the backside of the liner that can be seen in the above photos.
