Condition: Shell is in good condition with some wear. The inside has a lot of rust and white (soap?) residue. Liner is in good used condition with worn but intact webbing; there has been an exterior repaint. Inside, sweatband leather is worn/ rotten; and there is some dust. Chinstraps have fraying where they are sewn to the bails.

Shell is a rear seam swivel bail with heat stamp of 513 S (made by Schlueter).
It has sewn olive drab WW2 era chinstraps, and looks to retain the original paint and corking. Shell is a tad bit misshapen. Liner is a Westinghouse, with marked nape strap and sweatband, and khaki webbing.
Liner has some dust, the sweatband leather is rotten, and there is corrosion on the A-washers. It also appears to have been repainted a dark green. Nice salty original set!
