Vintage Original WW2 US Army Air Corps Pilot Officer Soft Billed Crusher Hat Cap

From the estate of a local veteran. This is the regulation WWII US Army officer uniform hat with the soft bill that was popular with pilots. Looking at the hat you can imagine an officer wearing the head phones and sunglasses in flight. It has a great slouch as if headphones covered the hat for hours. I had someone try it on who wears a 7 1/8 hat and it was big and he guessed it was a 7 3/8 to 7 1/2 which is a more desirable larger size and are getting harder to find as our WWII vets are passing away.
