  • Condition: Moderate wear throughout. One fixed loop has been repaired on the field, and the chinstraps have been repaired / reinforced with box stitching. The liner has a few minor cracks on the edge. One seems to have been caused by the loop repair.

    Description

    Original WWII US M1 helmet.
    Front seam, fixed loops manufactured by McCord Radiator Co, I can't locate the heat stamp due to the wear and repaint.
    Original OD3 chinstraps w/ brass hardware.
    Comes with original Westinghouse high pressure liner with OD3 suspension, original nape strap and sweatband. The liner came with this helmet, though I believe it may not be original to this helmet due to the condition difference.
    The shell has been repainted and shows a full ID inside. It is interesting to note that the shell was first ided with a laundry number that's been painted over, and a full name and full service number were both painted again with white paint.
    Moderate wear throughout. One fixed loop has been repaired on the field, and the chinstraps have been repaired / reinforced with box stitching. The liner has a few minor cracks on the edge. One seems to have been caused by the loop repair.
