    Description

This early helmet liner is named to Abraham Cohen of New Jersey. According to the family he served as a medic on DDay in Normandy. The beach to be specific. I have not found the information to confirm this. The helmet itself has a beautiful exterior with a vivid circle painted on the front. There are several more smaller circles painted over rivets on the sides and back. Despite a moisture issue the interior held up very well, only the chinstrap is a little stiff but still attached. If you can research this and find out that this man was in Normandy it would be a substantial piece of history, right now it’s an ID’d early liner with interesting painted markings that deserve some investigation. I guarantee that this liner with its painting is a period WW2 piece.

Selling Vintage and Antique Disclaimer:I sell Antiques and Vintage items, they come with dust, scratches, bumps, bruises and the like, i.e, they are not perfect items. I do not claim nor am I an expert on most things I list. I do however try my best to research each an every item I find and give the best description listing possible. If I am missing something important about an item or have made an error in the listing, please contact me, the more information, the better. If you purchase something from me and during the postal ride it is broken or it is not as I described, please contact me so we can figure out a way to make us both happy. Leaving negative feedback without first attempting to tell me there is an issue, it not kind. I work very hard to find, list and properly and expertly ship each an every item...I treat you the customer the same way I would want and expect to be treated. Please, try to do the same.
