You are bidding on a WWII US Army Air Forces Type A-11 Leather Flight Helmet This belonged to LT. T.W. Gilleran of the 447 bomb group, his plane was a B-17 Bomber called "Hi-Jinx" The information is online.  I bought this at an estate sale.
Very nice piece in size medium.  Army Air Forces label and stamp are legible. Leather is supple. Very clean interior.
