WWII WW2 US M1 Army LT Bar Rank & Striped Firestone Helmet Liner W/ Chinstrap

Original WWII US M1 Army Firestone helmet liner with LT decal rank on front. Period applied stripe around the liner. Perhaps for tactical or rank purposes. Great near mint intact webbing in the inside and brass buckle chinstrap. Great unpainted A washers inside too!
Has some type writing in the inside of webbing, looks like a faint laundry number that start with an “F”. Great condition sweatband. Very unique original liner for display! See photos for details.
